The Grand Mark Lodge of Upper India was established at Mohali (Chandigarh), on 22nd January 1995 by a group of regularly advanced Mark Master Masons and installed W. Masters.

26th Annual Grand Festival of Grand Mark Lodge of Upper India

 

Grand Lodge of Mark Master Masons of Upper India is now 26 years old and it held its 26th Annual Grand Lodge meeting on Sunday 19th December 2021 at the Masonic Complex Daun, Mohali (Chandigarh).

 

The Grand Mark Lodge of Mark Master Masons and Royal Ark Mariners of Upper India was opened in due form by M.W.Bro. Rakesh Mittal. He presided over the Grand Mark Lodge as M.W.Bro. Balbir Singh Devgun, the Grand Master, was called to Grand Mark Lodge above.

 

The Grand Mark Lodge stood in silence for two minutes to pay respect to the departed brother and pray for peace of his soul.

 

M.W.Bro. Rakesh Mittal then appointed and invested the Grand Officers for the ensuing year. R.W.Bro. Harbinder Singh Ranauta was appointed Deputy Grand Master and R.W.Bro. Lt.Col. Iqbal Singh Khara was appointed Assistant Grand Master respectively. The following officers were also appointed and those present were invested and installed.

Grand Lodge of Mark Master Masons of Upper India is now 25 years old and it celebrated its Silver Jubilee on Monday 20th January 2020 at the Masonic Complex Daun, Mohali (Chandigarh).

The Grand Mark Lodge of Mark Master Masons and Royal Ark Mariners of Upper India   was opened in due form by M.W. Bro. Rakesh Mittal. He presided over the Grand Mark Lodge as MW Bro. Balbir Singh Devgun  the Grand Master was abroad and had designated M.W. Bro. Rakesh Mittal to conduct the proceedings on his behalf.

Address by MW Bro. EK. Nagrajan

    MW Bro. E.K. Nagrajan MW the Grand Master of Grand Mark Lodge of South India addressed the Grand Lodge. He said that he was highly impressed by the new look of the renovated Temple of the GL U I. He remarked that new illuminated fitments had enhanced the beauty of the Temple many fold.

     He specifically mentioned his appreciation of wonderful hospitality extended to him and his Delegation. He invited brethren from Upper India to attend their next Grand Mark Lodge meeting in Coimbatore

Address by MW Bro. Rakesh Mittal

MW Bro. Rakesh Mittal addressed the Grand Mark Lodge and informed that MW Bro. Balbir Singh Devgun had to go to Australia on a short notice  and we all are missing him today, and that he was addressing the Grand Lodge on his behalf.

He thanked the brethren for coming from far off places to attend the Grand Lodge meeting.  He said that it is now 25 years since our Grand mark Lodge was consecrated and formed. Silver Jubilee Year is a Land Mark year in history of our Grand Mark Lodge. The presence of MW Bro. E K Nagrajan with his delegation gives strength to the Grand Mark Lodge of Upper India. He thanked the brethren from Coimbatore for being in Chandigarh on this occasion.

24th Annual Grand Festival of Grand Mark Lodge of Upper India was held at Masonic Complex, Daun, Mohali on Sunday 9th December 2018. M.W. Bro. Balbir Singh Devgun was  installed  MW the Grand Master of Grand Mark Lodge of Mark Master Masons and Royal Ark Mariners of Upper India for the usual term of three years.
He then appointed and invested his Grand Officers for the ensuing year.

ORDER OF ROYAL ARK MARINERS
 
 

The Order of Royal Ark Mariners of Upper India was established under Grand Mark Lodge of Upper India at Mohali (Chandigarh), on 22nd January 1995 by M.W. Bro. Dr. N. Vasishta Grand Master of the Grand Mark Lodge, assisted by a group of regularly elevated Royal Ark Mariners and installed W. Commanders ‘N’

The Degree of Royal Ark Mariner is conferred only upon a Mark Master Mason.

The Degree of Royal Ark Mariner is governed by Most Worshipful Grand Master, with the advice of a Board, called the Grand Master’s Royal Ark Council.
Grand Master’s Royal Ark Council consists of those members of the General Board who are holders of Grand Ranks in the Fraternity of Royal Ark Mariner, and four Brethren similarly qualified, appointed by the Grand Master during his pleasure.

The Grand Master confers the Ranks designated “Senior” and “Junior” Royal Ark Mariner Grand Officers on Past Commanders who have rendered meritorious service in the Royal Ark Mariner Degree.

MW Bro. Balbir Singh Devgun, M.W. the Grand Master of Grand Mark Lodge of India heads the Order of Royal Ark Mariners of Upper India.
